I don't know how long I can keep this up bros, it feels so unreal to be passing all these classes meanwhile my classmates are struggling. Im retarded af and havent learn a thing so i can't just stop. Will this backfire on me in the end? Im worried that once classes return to in-person, I'll be heavily behind.

People like you are one of the many reasons I will never hire anyone with a college degree except medicine if need a physician for my companies
I will also have frequent conversations with shareholders and other entrepreneurs to convince them to do the same

If you don’t actually learn Statics it’s over for you once you hit structural analysis and dynamics. Statics and calc 2 are also dead simple courses because they’re both just 2-4 equations, and material science isn’t hard either. Just apply yourself man

I take MATLAB, statistics, Differential Equations and thermodynamics and I am actually studying. I know, a bizarre concept. To get ahead you need to put in the work, that means studying, trying to network and always looking for opportunities (scholarships, internships, etc).

A piece of advice: if you want to cheat, make you can produce the same results without cheating, just in case the option of cheating doesn't exist.

Partially true. After the past online semester, I refuse to get fucked by the curve whilst at least half of my class cheats. Why should I fall victim to a group of degenerates in evaluations that are supposedly “not-open book” in which there’s no way of determining if students are using notes. Even more sinister, I know of people who got together during the midterm/final exams and worked through exams together. When I found the final exam difficult last semester and I the first 3 people I called either allowed their graduate student friend, or completed the exam as a team I was furious.

Don’t be a victim of the fucking system on account of having integrity.

Id recommend learning the subject as best as you can but also make sure you cheat to get 95%+. In all honestly, OP, I'd recommend only cheating to **verify** your answers and use cheat sheets to avoid memorization but still do the problems yourself. For example, in calculus try actually solving the equations but check your work on mathematica. Need to solve a lengthy and tedious equation? Eh fuck it, you know what to do, so set up the problem using your knowledge and solve the boring part with mathematica.

I made my own mathematica notebook that lets me plot, find tangents, areas, etc. effortlessly. Now I solve the problems myself and simply *validate* the answers. I end up understanding everything while avoiding ADHD brain fucks when it comes to arithmetic. At the very least, find the general formula for the integral THEN compute it with your PC. Why lose 10% on arithmetic when you have a PC in your face?

To add to this, what I mean is cheat on your own using offline tools only. Do not rely on others, you want to be able to cheat a "100% or 4.0" independently. This almost forces you to learn and the instant feedback on the problems you solve is a great confidence booster and a good way to have more fun learning calculus imo. Why flip to the end of the textbook to validate answers when you can make your own "homework validator"? Go on your uni's website and see if you can get free mathematica or something.

if you really have that much trouble understanding the concepts in any math class, only solution is office hours/ hours of self study via internet resources/textbook. It's always worth it to just learn the shit in the long run, esp when your classmates wont/dont, because your prof will recognize your effort and you'll have another person for potential rec letters in the future.
