Physics at uni

I just started physics at uni but i don't know limits, derivatives and integrals because i didin't study in high school.

Those are things that i find interesting and it's not a problem studying them, the problrm is that i have to keep up with lectures that sometimes i dont understand the math of while studying those things, so for the first 3 weeks i have skipped mechanics and analysis classes and i'm studying this math, i'm only following CS because it doesn't require this kind of math, at least for now.

I'm beginning to think that my method is stupid because maybe it'd be better to still watch lectures and then fill the gaps instead of skipping because it will be easier but i'm not sure because it feels like a waste of time when i'm watching lectures i can't understand.

I'm considering to actually restart uni the next year after i've built a solid base that enables me to participate in the courses the best way possible.

What do you think?
