What is eric Weinstein's IQ? He said he didn't score very high on iq tests! I say 125 at best because as a mathematician going for his PhD I can see that he lacks the ability to explain higher level maths to the point that I cringe.

His quaternion and octonion explanations were really not so bad. You need to remember that he was trying to explain the concept to people that think real numbers have some inherent physical qualities, and he was trying to use sensationalism to draw the listener's attention to what is regarded as something boring.

The man is clearly autistic and that gets in the way of his communication skills. Listening to him try to convince his brother that learning to play guitar is easy made it pretty clear he just does not understand that other people do not have the same cognitive heuristics that his megamind operates on.
