How much exposure to second/third hand smoke can decrease my IQ ? I have developed a paranoïa towards that. I know that lead is present in this smoke can decrease my cognitive abilities.

Second hand smoke doesn't causes much braindamage because it's not restructuralizing brain in a way cigarette is incorporated into metabolism of ideas.

doctor here, public perception of smoking has been swung to the opposite so hard its funny. Unless you are in a room full of smoke 24/7 for months on end it will have no impact on your cognitive ability. You can smoke 1 cigarette, 5 or 500 without any adverse impact on your health. None whatsoever.

The effects are cumulative over YEARS and generally manifest in your late fifties and no earlier. A whiff of some dudes cigarette on the street does 0 damage to you.
