I am not particularly smart. It makes me think he might not be too.

I was 14 or 15 when I realised the 7 year old version of me physically did not exist. It was a terrifying realisation that my past self was dead and it lead me to the inescapable conclusion of open individualism (I didn't know what it was called at the time)

From what I understand about open individualism, it means that we are all the same "person" living out our lives at the same time? Does this mean when I die I'll become someone else and seeing how time is an illusion, it works in the past as well as the future? The only reason why "we" do not experience all experience at once is because we are tethered to an individual organism at a time.

That'd be fucking cray. If it's true then I wonder who or what I'll be the "next" time around. Also it'd be really shitty because 90% of people who have ever lived lived miserable and unbearable lives, let alone the entire animal kingdom.

I commented on his posts quite a lot for the last half a year he was with us, so much that I cried when I found the article about him passing. He didn't seem to like me very much and I didn't like him in his current state either. Still did what I thought was right in trying to fix him but now most of it seems to have gone through him and I only realized what to try before he died.
The saddest part of him being from a sperm donor is that he had no one to talk to like a similar dad, his parents did not read nor study stem or so he told me, there was likely no personal small library for him at home. Raised in a toxic school environment and narcissistic culture without anyone, never having an actual friend which I found the most sad and learned about too late, neither a teacher he could talk to.
Is he a genius or delusional? He's at the very least capable, was motivated and above average intelligence, but became schizophrenic which you see in his inconsistency and disorganization of thought.
He's a good example of how dysfunctional the modern western education system has gotten, for boys especially. While I don't solely blame it I think it had a negative effect on him.
It's sad, I hope he found peace.
Please honestly do not indulge in his later thoughts too much or see them as a work of genius, it's a sad decline of organization into schizophrenia and entropy before suicide.
RIP.
