You didn't use soap at some point in your life after pooping and now ass bacteria have settled your belly button. Not joking, you'll even find ass bacteria in your ears thanks to you using your smartphone on the shitter.
Showering doesn't help, it only smears the bacteria around but you can never get rid of them from your belly button completely.
