Alice wants to teleport across the galaxy so she gets Bob to spin a galaxy-long stick around in a circle.
The end of the stick moves in a circle around Bob and when it's approaching light speed there will be significant length contraction and the distance around the circle will approach zero. That means the end is right next to Bob.
Alice grabs the end of the stick and Bob stops spinning it. The length will uncontract and Alice will immediately be moved to the other side of the galaxy.
