Sam Hydes advice is often contradictory because at the same time he has called blue collar workers low class , poor and dumb. He also tells people to go into debt.
Anyway Its actually the opposite it becomes easier to learn new skills because you have related experience to pull from that allows skills to be picked up easier, and thats basically from developing more synapses from a longer life and more comprehension of life itself , more synapses means easier development of skills. My personal experience is I developed skills later in age I couldn't at a young age. Even my music taste changed I hate rap now and used to love it, i bring it up because they used say music taste stays the same as when you are a teenager which I have found to be totally false.
