For me, I grew up in a racially tolerant liberal environment, so that stuff isn't taboo and thus not erotic to me. The primal violence found on guro sites became the taboo in a culture that is vehemently anti-war, anti-gun, and conflict averse. But unlike OP, I don't need to cry myself to sleep by posting justifications on /sci/ for being a sick fuck.
