Alot of mathematicians and scientists already agree the earth is not a "perfect" sphere because of mountains and pyramids.
Visually there is no way to prove the earth is a circle. Only reason being.. simply take 700 tooth picks and arrange them touching point to point it will look like a circle. But physically cannot be because tooth picks are straight.
Like a do-deca hedron the earth is like a million-deca hedron.
And the "roundness" people are seeing from photos. Is from the gravity pulling atoms to its core. And the atmosphere is making a round shape. Since the atmosphere reflects light to create Blue/Orange/Pink skies and the gravity is causing the round shape. And also why the dark area loses the roundness because no light is reflecting through the atmosphere.
Let's say there is a limit to how many atoms are allowed in the atmosphere 100million. That if plants produces 10million O2 a day.. that after 10days any excess oxygen drifts off into space. Because the gravity can not pull anymore atoms.
And because gravity originates from the center of a mass. It pulls atoms from all directions equally. Causing a circular shape.
Same reason black holes seem circular. But if a person could survive and touch the surface of a black hole as though it where a planet. (Some say it's a fuzzy orb and no a hole) that there would be "moutains" and "valleys" on the surface of a black hole.
I guess if we can take a picture of the earth or another planet that doesn't have sun/star light we might be able to see the "true" shape of a planet
