Hello /sci/, I have a question that will likely make me seem stupid, but how does fire (particularly wood fire or the flame of a candle, I suppose it's all roughly the same organic carbon combustion) accelerate particles to the speed of light? And also how does it imbue the necessary frequency for the visible spectrum?
