Second of all, the baby helps with the feed back loop in the mother's body, like releasing relaxin to strengthen/support her back muscles, releasing anti-stress hormones when the mother's experiences a spike in cortisol, and more.
In the end of the day, the reason for viewing a fetus negatively is never really about whether it's just a clump of cells or parasite, rather it's inconvenience that the mother wants to kill off. It's alive, it's human, it has potential, however, for most women/men those ultimately doesn't matter, if they want it dead, it's dies.
