It's vertical xor. I always focus horizontal structures, going left to right on all rows like reading a book, but this clearly doesn't work here.

Xoring features vertically up -> down is by far the most probable

This one was creative in the sense that it was xoring vertically, I guess..? Maybe xor simply happens to generalize a lot of iq questions in this format, even if the designers didn't have it in mind originally

meaning the 2 columns on the left had a "center" vertex while the right column had a left aligned vertex, which means d is a probable answer using that logic. But the xor makes way more sense
