That means your 80kW electrical output turbine is making a whopping 160kW of heat. The efficiency gets worse as you make turbines smaller. This is a fundamental problem presented by fluid dynamics. You can't engineer around it. You think charging a battery at upwards of 95% efficiency makes your phone warm? Imagine having to deal with a couple dozen W of heat streaming out of your shitposting box 24/7.
Yes they break often and are noisy. Those fuckers are screaming at tens of thousands of RPM and are putting huge loads on very tiny blades. Imagine a spinning hard drive going 10x faster and also combusting gas and pushing a huge amount of air through itself. Just the high velocity air movement will make the noisiest laptop fan seem tame.
