I'm getting tired of learning nothing but ideology.

I only did biology and mathematics in high school. Been thinking about doing computer science, but what other options would you recommend for an ex-English major that wants to embrace the STEM gospel?

Any options are open. I'm willing to learn, as long as it pays well and isn't too soul-crushing.
