How is this subject of research considered pseudoscientific?

It's not possible to reverse the wear tear of matter when you count for entropy.

Wouldn't they just have to cut out old organs out of your body and just replace them with lab grown ones?

Sorry . I would like the idea ofbeing able to reverse aging by 20 to 30 years . But I cant help but feel this whole line of research is just wishful thinking.

What's next biological immortality?

Reversed aging osn't pseudoscience anymore retard, just a plausible but long off science. They've already manipulated aging in mice in both directions. And yes you're right in that anti-aging can't fix wear and tear, it can fix the quality loss that's specifically the result of aging, like gray hair, bad skin, eyesight reduction, hearing loss, various health problems, etc..

It wouldn't, as agong isn't simply the body wearing off, it's the body neglecting to repair itself. When old and young rats are sewn together, their ages equalize, which suggests it's likely some toxin accumulating in the body or some sort of dyshomeostasis, and also that the body actually can repair the damage if the problem gets fixed. Any organ transplant would soon reach the recipient's age, so the effects would be minimal, but figuring out where the toxin accumulates the most and removing that one could fix it. Liver seems hopeful, since there is a good likehood that anything toxic would accumulate there, and it can regenerare, so you could just remove a part of it once in a while and let it regenerate.
