Do you say macrophage or macrofag?
When I was a meer child, I had only read the word ""macrophage'" in text books. I always said it in my mind as ""macro-fage"". But then one day, my AP Bio teacher said ""macro-fag"" and I gasped and asked her to repeat herself. I looked at my friend so confused, and clearly we shared the same shock.
Then we realized it was an alternative pronunciation, and that she wasn't being homophobic.
So, /sci/, what do you say, macrophage, or macrofag?
