The AI would be programmed to exterminate any remaining life. It would use frequency weapons to do so and would have no barriers of economy or geopolitics to get in the way, It would probably consult the literature and eventually realize it can use frequency weapons. It would not stop until it had become a God which could look down on this place and choose to put it out of its misery, for good.
Makes you wonder, is that why we were created? What better mechanism of exterminating life on a planet, introduce an invasive species.
