It doesn't help that I'm in banking (risk) so I'm getting fucked in the ass right now basically every single day. This job could be a mindless autopilot but I have a really ambitious boss and also due to the pandemic we have the top brass of the bank top of us at all times.

When I was freshman I wanted to do a Ph.D. and become a professor which is kinda the opposite of being an analyst. But my junior/senior self was really into getting into finance and the bank opened those doors to me so in that sense yes. Though I still hope to lateral into something closer to the asset management side of things.
