So let me get this straight:

1. Self replicating molecules evolve

2. Molecules become sufficiently complex that the become true life forms aka cells.

3. Some cells find it's beneficial to live glued to each other in big colonies and these become the first multi-cellular organisms

4. From here we get sponges, jellyfish, and turnicates.

5. The larva of some tunicates never mature and eventually become worm like creatures.

6. These worm like creatures split into two: protostomes and deuterostome based on how the embryo develops, ass first or mouth first

7. Deuterostomes go on to evolve fish, reptiles, and mammals and protostomes become bugs, worms, and mollusks.
