there's still a market for vacuum tubes (mainly in guitar amplifiers and so on), so probably not

Analog cathode ray displays are beatiful.. .Why nobody makes them for some niche market? Now they could be 16k with recent advancements in electronics as everything got smaller, but we cannot align crystals like that.
