Which areas of math made you have a "aah fuck no" moment when you learned they had a close relationship?

For me it was discrete dynamical systems and group theory, pic related.

I discover currying everywhere. Ever since I learned that bilinear forms are linear forms are related via currying I realized it is applicable to any kind multiplication that takes two parameters.
