You're not any different than religion, the placebo helped them survive through rough times and helped them have a stable population even though they never could prove anything. Scientists are the same, it just werkz. They can't even comprehend the bottleneck and the stagnation they might reach because of their assumptions. How can you build your whole framework from assumptions and then claim superiority, it's hypocritical.
