Sorry to break it to you, kid, but life is not a science fiction movie. Note that many of these things EXIST right now, but the fact is that none of them resemble at all your imaginary concept of what they should look like or what applications they could have. Many of the ones that DO exist are just novelties without any usefulness whatsoever. There'll never be a terran colony on the moon or a war between Man and Machine, there'll never be a grey goo scenario and we'll never live in star trek post-austerity society.
