was there a specific book or video course that helped you? and also what is the point of learning proofs? does it make learning hard math topics like topology, or real analysis easier? and also prove pic related, i want to see how you do it!

Practice helps. Recognising tricks and building a "toolbox" is important. Everything in mathematics is considered conjecture without a proof, so it is crucial to progress in the field. The harder the topic the more similar it becomes to proof writing - ie. the problems are abstract and not reducable to a simple method. I'm no mathematician though.

Stop looking for a magic video that will make this easy for you. The fact that you even think that is going to happen tells me I'm probably wasting my time typing this.

It's what you're going to be doing 90-100% of the time in those two subjects. If you can't understand or write proofs, there's nothing for you to do there.

Start easy. Learn truth tables, AND, OR, implications, etc. Next, study some quantifies. Then learn properties like contradiction, DeMorgan's Laws and things like that. Then rules of inference. This is the foundation. Once you do a lot of problems with these small pieces you can start to build up.

Get that Putnam book and solve some problems, they include all the answers. After a while you just kind of pick it up

The trick to learning theorem writing is to practice consolidating the theorem and lemma dependencies into a unified whole.

When practicing, don't reference theorems and lemmas, just do them from scratch each time.
