Ok, here me out:
humans are originally from venus;
we had a very sciectifically advanced civilization, but got fucked by climate change we caused there by ourselves;
a fraction of humanity (refugees) escaped to earth, which was not fucked at the time;
the refugees wanted the earth for themselves;
a major war broke out on earth between the refugees and all other humans about who gets the earth;
we nuked ourselves back into the stone age and cannot find any ancient tech because of it;
the nuking caused the latest ice age;
the now toxic climate of venus (caused by us) erased all signs of the human civilization that was once there and thats why we cant find any remnants of civilization there;
some advanced science of ancient earth people is just lousy attempts at copying andvanced venus human tech from memory/passed down by word;
all hierogliphs and such depicting gods fighting on earth references the war;
eventually we forgot our true history and now think the earth stage of humanity is the only stage;
we are now fucking up the earth same as venus;
the same thing will happen again, just on mars next time;
in the exact same way.
