i have bed bug infestation and wanted to know if this would make sense

from what ive researched bed bugs only can survive upto 7 degrees. in winter it goes to 0 degrees where i live. would it be reasonable if i just left my room window open and left it there for few days so the bedbugs die automatically?

Don't fall for the cold kills bugs and parasites meme, freezing temperatures are used to conserve samples and living tissue for a reason. And yes this includes food.

It's not a solution at all, if you're lucky they'll just leave you alone for a while.
If you can move to another place I strongly suggest you do so. If that's not possible you should find out how they got in your house. Then you'll have to exterminate them, and be constantly on guard, because they most likely will return no matter how thorough you think the extermination was, it'll have to be done over and over again and by leaving no stone unturned. You'll probably never be sure as long as you live there.

These motherfuckers are built to last and hide for long ass times. Just below 7 is probably not enough, and even if it is, if it's gradual they can probably just hibernate and outlast him, there could also be hiding spots that are warm enough for them.

Get a steam cleaner and steam clean the affected furniture thoroughly several times a week. Make sure to get all the crevices. They like to live in those holes where the bolts/joints are in your bed frame.

Also, put diatomaceous earth in places that are heavily infested. When I had them, I had them not only in my bed but under the baseboards near places such as my computer table so what I did was I got this sealant shit from the hardware store, I put diatomaceous earth inside the gaps under the baseboards and then put sealant so there was no gap. It got rid of them.

The steam cleaner is the most important though. If you want to keep your furniture you have to steam clean it many times before they will all be gone.
