When I was kid I read alot books about Philosophy because I thought it was cool at time and be I was an artist
But as I've got older , even though I dont work in any scientific field , I can't help but wonder if philosophy has any use at all today .
It feels like it's just degenerated into a endless word game were they argue endlessly over definitions and framing over certain subjects.
It made sense why philosophy was useful in the past. Humanity didnt knew as much as they do now. They made just alot of importsbt guesswork that were the first foot prints in the dark that eventually led to where we are now, where you carry an infinite library in the palm of your hand.
It feels like that not only does philosophy has pragmatic use outside of academia, but philosophy has more or less stopped evolving since the 19th century .
Is the practice completely dead and obsolete?
Or has humanity finally reached the plateau of its creatvity?
