Energy drinks have a ton of sugar/sweetener. Shits not great for you. When we eat sweet things the body prepares to digest a large meal, if it doesn’t get that meal it has to work to correct itself, and if it does get that meal it stores a lot of it as fat because that’s what it thinks it should do. This happens regardless even if the sweetener is artificial. Rather than hydrating you it does the opposite, and paired with all the guarine and other shit they put in there the kidneys gotta go to work to sort things out.
Our body is a lot like a car, if we run it the way it’s intended, it works well for a long time. If we stress it regularly or constantly (sugary drinks, obesity) Then it breaks down faster and more often.
