Second, he started the whole S-Matrix approach to physics which evolved into bootstrap and stirring theory. he is for sure the spiritual progenitor of string theory (string theory is an S-Matrix theory.) so he is a mixed bag but if string theory turns out true he will get way more street cred and be on par with say Maxwell
