Welp, what decent jobs could a person get with a bachelors in Biology/Genetics?
Thinking of moving to Japan with my wife until my college is willing to fund me again, how's the job market there for biologists?

Fuck, that's supposed to be a good school. Seriously? They're just cutting you off like that? FWIW I just graduated in biology and I'm a lab tech now. Wasn't easy to get the job, did many many applications, but the jobs exist. I'd also look in QC/manufacturing/associate positions at pharma/biotech companies. Just check linkedin.

Biologists are the women studies of STEM. The job market sucks, I suggest you get out of that and pursue a more demanded degree like analytical chemistry involving Mass Spec Or chemical/mechanical engineering.

Not if you get a genetics degree or Bioinformatics. But most of those require more than a Bachelors. I was learning population genetics until I got the news.

Got it from my professor. Further funding will be cut. Not all is cut but enough where I wouldn't be able to pay for classes or living. Basically at this point I would have to pay for school out of pocket.
