Anyone have data on Indian arranged marriages? how are they so successful most of the time it's just counterintuitive?

Truth, women getting beat is fine. Women leaving husband is not. Thing's are changing though.
Cheating is not so prevalent due to culture and the fear of gods/allah/and whatever else. But it happens, adultery is not illegal either anymore.

I didn't say it wasn't, but cheating is way way more prevalent than I used to think. Might be a modern thing, and might just be my own experiences, but it is what it is.

they are successful most of the time because parents want the best for their children and they make better choices than their children because they are experienced. probably these arranged marriages are more successful than nonarranged marriages of the western world- in the west we have over 50% divorce rate

Divorce is akin to becoming a social outcast. There is much more to lose in that system than your spouse. Culture plays a dominant role, not just the fact that marriages are arranged
