For ML related stuff, you also want some linear algebra and calculus, but I think deep statistics knowledge is one of the biggest components of DS.
And specifically knowing what to use when, like which models or hypothesis tests to use in what situations, as well as good domain-specific questions to come up with in the first place that'll help the organization in some way. It's more abstract and high-level than just solving math problems or necessarily doing calculations yourself. So a big portion of it is actually business analyst type stuff and general creative thinking. Someone could be a math savant yet terrible at that stuff.
