Just like how philosophy eventually gave rise to the degrees of political science, economics, psychology, sociology,etc. will the same thing happen to CS?

The only major career-orientated distinction currently is CS (applied or theoretical) and software engineering but yeah, it will and has expanded outwards to sub-disciplines just like every other scientific field.
