I know that you could still see the stars, but if you were in interstellar space, would there be enough light from the distant stars to reflect off your hand in front of your face so that you could see it?

go outside on a clear moonless night away from light pollution and there's your answer
I can see fine there, but I think my night vision is a bit better than normal so the answer may vary depending on the quality of your eyes

Net illumination in deep space is something like 3-5*10^-4 cd/m^2. Without external illumination you could still probably just barely make out your hand in front of you, but not much detail, just a vague shape in the dark.

Intergalactic space on the other hand is ridic dark. You wouldnt be able to see your hands at all.

You should be able to make it out by the occlusion but yes no surface features would be visible.
