>>12161777The system in many countries already gives low IQ people incentives to reproduce, even if this wasn't the intent. The precedent for artificial selection has already been set, it only becomes naughty if it's being done with intent to improve humanity, because according to modern mythology, that's what Hitler did, and Hitler = Satan. In reality, Hitler rejected IQ as an oversimplification, industrial eugenics was mostly fearmongering over a "what could have been" scenario, and the center of the actual eugenics movement was White America - not Whites vs Blacks or sterilization or castration or whatever - but just providing incentives for people to breed in a socially conscious manner in order to align individual gain with societal gain.
It's naughty today not because it was in any way connected with actual atrocity (even if we accept the Holocaust, it was no more eugenics than any of the millions of other genocides throughout history), but because it's the antithesis of the winning ideologies - marxism (many of the food issues the USSR experienced was due to their persecution of biologists and their banning of genetics research) and global free markets (More dumbdumbs = more consumption = more money changing hands). Neither of these existed in any appreciable form in the west pre-WW2, and while both of these tend to be unpopular with the masses today, they are still what is popular with the elite, and thus this characterizes the representatives that the masses get to choose between. The biggest meme of the entire WW2 narrative was that the societies of the pre-WW2 allied nations were equivalent to that of Hitler, and thus that the allies had a duty to deconstruct their own societies in favor of the marxism - global free markets experimental dichotomy.
