ANGEL: always cooperates. Gives 5 points to a random player.
DEMON: always defects, then punishes the player for 5 points.
TRADESMAN: Always defects, but gives 10 points to those who don't.
PUNISHER: always cooperates, but punishes defection by 25 points.
HYPOCRITE: always defects, but punishes defections by 25 points.
Even more interesting could be if the punishments were visible to all:
RIGHTEOUS: Cooperates, but defects against those who were punished before.
PSYCHO-HELPER: Always defects. Every round shares 5 points with a random player.
BOOTLICKER: Picks the player who was given the most points, (if any) and always defects to the players this player punished (if any). Otherwise coperates.
SOVEREIGN: Always defects. Punishes any player that defects against him, or punished anyone else by 100 points (if he can)
>>12163298I think that was the point I was making - enough people who never take revenge can give rise to super powerful ones, who cannot be stopped even by those who play more reasonably.
