It takes a while a break someone down who intellectualizes all their defense mechanisms.
but since their job rests on a shakey, fluid foundation,
and progress and recovery are very long, sometimes on going, and less than a 50/50 chance.
All you really have to do is keep telling them that they are doing a horrible job.
