Is it a coincidence that an image tortured by postprocessing can be made to kinda look like writing?

When asking if something is writing, you should ask yourself if it has repeating elements or subunits. None appear present. On the other hand, it is apparent that this is some periodic pattern that has been tortured enough to obscure this fact. There are no repeating characters because if it was less tortured, then the repetitions would show that what we are dealing with is clearly not language.
