How is time measured in space?
Like right now I know it's 10:46pm CST due to the Earth's rotation and position relative to the sun.
But if you're on a free trajectory and not orbiting anything, how do you know what time it is?
This shit is making my head hurt. Obviously the flow of time doesn't change, but if you're in outer space it's not the same time because you aren't orbiting the sun.
Do astronauts just set the clock based on what time it is in Houston?
