Why do dogs enjoy eating disgusting shit like human bodily fluids and literal shit so much? Like, what's the evolutionary reasoning behind it? I just sneezed and some sputum landed on my sheets and my dig instantly rushed to lock it. She honestly seemed to enjoy it more than when I giver her fucking steak... And we also know how dogs often eat their own(and others) shit and puke. Ive been wondering if there's any scientific explanation behind that, srems like a pretty dangerous evolutionary trait to have.
