>>12147732It can be mitigated if the political will materialises. Direct carbon capture a la Climeworks, artificial forests, a complete shift to electric vehicles and renewable energy, Dutch agriculture, a carbon tax on e.g. meat and air travel. All of those combined would keep it in check.
Obviously the true solution is a global one child policy and mandatory sterilisation but that's fantasy.
