How do you cope with not having a PhD and thus having a glass cailing above you, preventing you from becoming even a middle manager at a big company?

I'm 28 and graduated with a M.Sc. two years ago. Now I'm about to switch jobs for the first time and all team leaders in my department have a PhD, even half the foot soldiers like myself have a PhD. There's no way I will end up managing themand it will become clearer to both them and me by the day. I think I ruined my life by enjoying the student life too much and not graduating earlier.
All these PhDs are in their early 30s as well. If I went back to university now I couldn't take the sudden drop in income. I save most of my money anyway and don't really need a big income but I like the sense of increasing freedom andindependence with every paycheck I put into stocks/savings.
