If many worlds is true, life as a whole is basically a quantum suicide experiment. You’ll constantly die in some universes and survive in other universes.

With the universe constantly splitting into infinitely many new universes, you’ll always end up in a branch where you survive, until literally the end of time.

When you’re thousands of years old, it’s very unlikely that life will be pleasant.

Even if quantum immortality were a thing, infinite amounts of conceptual information is not. By the 1000th year you'd be so numb to whatever repetitive sensation you're getting that nothing would be left. it wouldn't be agony, it wouldn't by anything. Just consistency.

You only even make it to 300 in a very small proportion of universes. Think one universe out of every googolplex universes or something like that. It’s almost certain we’d live in a universe where nobody’s lived to that age.

That doesn’t mean it’s literally impossible to live that long.

Have dreams that last decades and life times. Only to wake up. And live through yet another day. Before having the chance of living entire lifetime again. Shit gets boring real fast.

A day feels like eternity. 1,000 days is only 3 years roughly. And people live between 60-90 years. 20,000-30,000 days. Yeah quantum immortality is so boring.. it is agony. I hope quantum immortality isn't possible.

And rococo's basilisk.. is just trying to achieve a utopia. Many people have done thought experiments about utopias. Only thing is the movie transcendence.. instead of uploading a nice guy.. a tyrant is uploaded. And decided to use communist torture to teach everyone their role.

I guess anyone who wants to achieve a utopia.... is delusional. I definitely don't agree with torture. But we literally have people discussing eugenics. Like it is a rational ideal.

At first it seems alright. But as each generation grows... the standards for allowed mating. And reproduction.. will raise... and then soon it will be a royal hierarchy... of incest.... and then your perfect human Gene's will be hit with so many flaws.

I really hope no one is taking any of these subjects as rational ideals.

Tbh if quantum immortality is real being born right now isnt so bad since they might have the technology to make you younger soon. Also I guess you should branch into universe where the incredibly small chance of series of cellular mutiations happens that would allow your body to survive, otherwise you would simply have no chance after 120-130.
