>>12146051Look, lemme give it to you straight. The fact that bodies age and die isn't a problem you can pop a pill or get a special treatment to fix. It's a mechanical, physical problem. Anything injected into you is just going to delay ageing. Probably not by that much either, especially if you're ALREADY old and your body has accumulated a life's worth of tiny damages. It's a PHYSICAL problem that things inevitably slide towards entropy.
Thankfully, there is 1 way around this. One no one talks about nearly enough.
You wanna know the way to beat ageing? The ONLY true way that might make us live up to hundreds of years?
There's only 2 scientific breakthroughs stopping us. They are
>1) advanced (preferably sped-up) human cloning >2) brain/body swappingThat's it. It's our best hope, and it's not an unrealistic dream. Both of these things legitimately could happen in the next 100 years.
Look, you can lengthen teleomeres all you fucking want, it's just putting a band-aid on the problem. Your body WILL age and die. . . . but nothing is stopping us theoretically from cloning a new young body, then putting our brain in that instead. It's CHEATING basically, but that is what is required for true immortality. Thankfully all the IMPORTANT parts of us we consider "us" is crammed all into one place, the brain. Everything else? Fuck it, get that shit outta here, we can get a brand new body.
Now, it's likely there are many unforeseen complications here, and it wouldn't make you live FOREVER forever, because the human brain itself ages and wasn't built to last for eternity. But one has to assume a new body with fresh young blood wouldn't revitalize an old brain a bit. You PHYSICALLY can't achieve immortality without doing this, you WILL age and die unless you leave behind your slowly crumbling vessel and procure a new brain vehicle to live in.
