If you have low test, you probably won't have male pattern baldness, because low dht. If you have high test you still might not have hair loss, it depends on how much dht you're converting. Hairloss drugs like finasteride work by inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase, so they prevent the production of dht, which is why they sometimes have side effects like sexual dysfunction, as dht is strongly androgenic. Blocking test completely also stops hair loss, because no test means no dht.
