Seeing Religion in low level science

I keep finding religion signs during my research. Nothing substantial but odd similarities.

I'm a nut case like every lab rats, but I see some things while doing my research on cancer signaling pathway. Am I turning into a schiz? Do I need to take meds now?

It's the Globus Cruciger an artefact or christianity. It was a symbol of authority and belonged to kings.

Funnily enough DNA during recombination events will have this exact same shape until it's processed by a resolvase.

The shape is called a Holliday Junction.

With all due respect bro, I think you're stretching thing quite a bit. I think you want to see that symbol in the natural world, and so you've latched onto it regardless of whether it's actually there.

That said, biology is a field in which we can rejoice in the glory of the Creator and his Creation. I encourage you to read about it, and learn about how life works, both on the micro-scale (cells, genetics, etc.) and on the macro scale (evolution, ecology, etc.)

It's just a comparison. When a plasmid operates its replication via RCR this shape can emerge. RNA (m,si,mi,trc,lnc) also gets funny shapes.

But when beholding the sublime you're in the mode of aesthetic appreciation, not science. You're not "doing science" . You're taking a brief break to admire the spiritual side of the world. That's fine but I wouldn't think of it as finding religious signs.

I believe quote in attached pic is 100% true, but I don't view biological life as something that directly needs an intelligent creator. You can simulate abiogenesis on your laptop if you wait long enough, you don't need to actually construct the structure yourself. The chances of abiogenesis approach 1 as you wait and try out all possible configurations of systems where local to distant interactions are free to happen.

You/God just need to provide a universe for abiogenesis to have a chance of happening.

So biologocal life isn't what makes me believe in a supreme being, but existence itself. But I'm not a religious person because I actually believe that I am that God: I collapse the wavefunction of the universe.

yes, unfortunatelly that type of iconography has become a dominan factor but the actual theology of christianity is very profound, in every thing we do we encounter this interaction between our logos/logic and the logos/logic of the cosmos to the point that it is really hard for us not to be in this mode of "communion"
