Major math + fill my electives with CS classes
VS
Major in CS + fill my electives with math.

I'd recommend math major + CS electives. Studying CS just a little gets you much more bang for your buck than any other subject as elective courses.

If you're a gigachad, then consider the double major. It would be the best choice.

Tbh if you're good at math you probably should go with it and take CS electives. I'm assuming that you want to work in tech afterwards. There's a lot of CS graduates who don't know shit about maths and thus cannot get those jobs that involve lots of it. What CS courses can offer you in a university is somewhat limited, if you want to work as a software developer you will have to learn more in your free time. People get in software business without university background by just doing shit they're interested in. If you do B.Sc. in maths you can switch to CS for your Master's if you wish.

Thanks for the advice. CS is nice, but the lack of math turns me off. I taught myself scheme (via SICP) and I've been running linux exclusively for 1.5 years. I found that studying CS is much simpler than math. I'm interested in the intersection between math and CS, so it makes sense for me to have a bachalors in math and then get a masters in CS. Hijacking OP question cuz im in a similar boat. Im a filthy freshman and am in my first semester double majoring in math n phys. At first I wanted to end up pursuing a physics phd because ive really enjoyed the physics ive had at cc, but part of me still wants to make money. So I'm half considering changing to a double in math and cs. Would that be better, or would I still be quite employable in industry if i just picked up programming skills along the way while sticking with my current path?

If this, some /g/-tier meme, is your idea of “studying CS” or even knowing some of it, idk what to say. Do the later chapters of concrete mathematics, look at demaine’s algorithms lectures, do convex optimization and analysis, graphics processing, etc.
The intersection of math and CS is well known, and there’s plenty of hard CS that involves hard math as well.
If you’re going for a masters only though you might be limiting yourself to the exposure

a double major != grad school material
a double major can significantly bolster your knowledge base, your resume keywords, and your academic worth if you go down that route. It's wholly worth it if you can do it in time or with maybe one extra semester or summer. If not, a major + minor will suffice.

While outside of academia there are more CS related jobs, I would still recommend mjaoring in math since even with little programming skills you can easily learn more, while learning more math on your own can be tricky. In mathematics I would prioritize algebra and statistics since they show up the most in CS. Regards, another undergrad.
I feel like this board needs a college questions general, since finding good information online can be very tricky, or often outright misleading.

I don't work ina physics related field nor do I know anyones who does, but looking at websites like payscale or glassdoor tells me that geophycisists and engineering-physicists make huge amounts of money. There might be something I am missing out, but if you're interested in money I would look into these fields.

I went to a top 25 school and it didn't burn me out

I did honors and grad classes and had around a 3.7 GPA
