Is Ocaml just a meme language or is it actually worth learning?

I'm fairly proficient in Python and can code my way out of a box in C++. I know that the job market is very niche for functional programming in general, so I'm looking for views on this in terms of self-improvement potential. (If food ever becomes a problem, Jane Street has this weird fascination with OCaml which might be an option too)
