The argument between math/physics and engineering/cs

I always see the shitposting from math/physics guys on the engineering/cs guys. One group says that the others major is non rigorous while the other group says that at least their major is marketable. But then I see the math/physics guys try to argue that their degrees are indeed marketable, especially at the PhD level. But it seems like I haven’t seen any definitive answer on this. Are math/physics degrees pretty unmarketable or do employers look for these majors when hiring?
